   you can build a parabolic receiver like they make parabolic microphones.
   
   An umbrella, a USB extension cord to reach outside, a USB stick and then get the passwords to local cafe shops like Peets coffee or some mom&pops joint. Usually there is a password for WiFi on webpages or even like a map.google has it.
   
   then you position into the place that gets you the highest bars. Free Internet.
