Norfolk Southern, the company that crashed the train, has its own corporate police force
and residents are now complaining that they're being used to prevent people from recording and closing down public roads
These "police" don't have any authority whatsoever. They're just dressed up citizens. I'd tell them to get off my property or spend the next six weeks in traction. -
2023-03-01 at 3:28 PM UTCLet's all ignore the fact that Norfolk Southern lobbied the Trump administration to dismantle an Obama era rule that railroad companies update their braking systems because the "cost outweighs the benefit"
But goddamn Brandon Man Bad and sheeeeit.

Air resistance is free and ecologically friendly. Sorry that you don't care about the planet.

Let's not forget that braking had nothing to do with this accident. It was caused by an overheated wheel bearing which 3 separate dectors reported. It wasn't until a temptature of over 650 degrees higher than the ambient temperature that was reported that the crew chose to apply breaks. Then the bearing failed causing 23 cars to derail. -

2023-03-02 at 12:20 PM UTCI heard that 5 Environmentel scientists were otw to do testing on Feb 23rd and their plane mysteriously crashed and I thought "that's too crazy" so I fact checked it on snopes and it came back FALSE because apparently they were going to do testing somewhere else in Ohio that was very closeby. But it's totally FALSE

there's a team from Carnegie doing independent air and water tests; so far they've analysed the EPA's data and found several pollutants at dangerous levels but haven't actually released any information on the samples they're collecting themselves -

I've been trying to tell the simps this. But the man in the box won't let them think.
