    Bread is served with pretty much all meals here, you go to a restaurant you're likely to get bread rolls/bread sticks etc while you wait on your food.

    Bread has been a mainstay of civilization since 8000bc when in was invented in the Middle East where it was used to wipe their asses before transitioning to a regular meal stuff.
