yeah if they wanted to they could divert tanks that were returned from Afghanistan or some of their other reserves
the point isn't that they'd be difficult to deploy in Ukraine (though they would, training is completely different from the Soviet models they're used to and the things run on jet fuel, not diesel), it's that the US knows they're not going to turn the tide and don't want HD media of flaming tanks with popped turrets affecting their negotiations to replenish armor stocks across the EU

Wagner's reporting that they keep finding bodies with hands and head removed; they say it's to prevent identification of mercenaries who died fighting with the AFU (ie. registered military from countries who claim not to be participating in the war). I've seen a few pictures, they look legit, but it's always possible Wagner's doing the chopping for one reason or another

That's pretty fucked whoever is doing it. Wonder if that's a war crime. Even for mercs, I'm guessing you are usually hoping that if you die someone can at least ID you and report back to whoever is waiting for you.

Just type in "download twitter video" into google, the copy paste the tweet URL into the sites that come up, eg.
https://twdown.net/ Then I can get a direct link to the mp4 video file, and embed that.

The only way they could show a rainbow flag in Kiev is by photoshopping one in. I don't think I seen one even once there. On the other hand it's the unofficial flag of Dublin.
