I only heard about this recently, nothing when it happened.
Ukrainians apparently converted an old Soviet recon drone into a suicide weapon and fired it at Zagreb at the beginning of the war - they used the same converted drone to hit Engels airbase recently.
It was obviously the Ukraine that did it considering their colours were painted over the Soviet tags on the tail and NATO refuses to name the country that fired it on the basis of 'the integrity of the alliance' or similar, but why?
Why Croatia, at that time, and why such a rare delivery system? -

APCs are meant to send men into battle behind armors. theyre made to withstand fire from small arms, not he big guns.

Speaking of putting all your eggs in one basket, some Ivan genius decided to billet a whole company of his troops in a school building alongaside an ammunition dump. Because neatness is next to godliness. Ukraine sent 4 HIMARS rockets, and hilarity resulted. Russia is admitting to 63 dead.

when activated, my design will propell the APC several meters upward into the air to provide temporary cover while the crews will be shot several meters into the ground to keep them safe from shell fragments. -

sounds like that proposed 'safety device' for aeroplanes where in the case of engine failure explosives blow off the wings, tail and nosecone and the fuselage triggers a single massive parachute
