Fucking lol as the head druid would say as the summer soltice sun rises above Stonehenge.

if you want to follow the real modern science why stop at the minutes,

grind it down to the nearest pico seconds.

i was trying to point out the vain-ity and banality of celebrating moments such as vinter solstice.

if you cant celebrate it right at its very moment then whats the difference with just attribute the whole day to it.

Typical English construction, can't even put one stone on top of another so it stays.

I've been told by others that the first time they saw it as they come over the hill it's quite a breathtaking sight...the problem is the first time I saw it was as a dumb uncivilized schoolkid with a bunch of other equally dumb and unruly uncivilized school kids so we were more interested in seeing what we could steal in the cafe/giftshop area than a bunch of "dumb stones".

    Yes.

The 3rd time I took exwife #2 (the 2014 visit)...her first time in the UK and her first time at Stonehenge...she was a pretty emotional person...I figured she's be awestruck but all she did was whine about how cold it was and "could we go get a coffee now we've seen them"

    I raged at her ungratefulness
