there's always the argument of what actually causes collapsing birth rates in 'developed' countries, but I think the more important thing is that most governments don't even try to address it. in many cases they go in the other direction with advertising campaigns discouraging people to have less or no children to 'combat climate change', or the WEF/Davos/UN usual suspects constantly floating ways to 'combat overpopulation', tellingly exclusively in 'first-world' countries.
Ghadaffi offered massive subsidies when buying a home if you were starting a family. Hitler offered dramatically reduced interest rates on loans based on how many children you had. The US effectively stops protecting their southern border in order to allow the free flow of cheap labour, and Sweden has announced that any Afghan female will be given refugee status if requested. -

sure, those are correlates, but you have plenty of other things too like diet, environmental contamination, cultural affectations, economic pressures, value systems etc.
the question is how many of them can actually be modified top-down? this is the sort of thing I was talking about before with whether a state religion is required; most people can't or won't look beyond their own immediate desires to consider the long-term stability of the herd or tribe so those parameters need to be communicated in a simpler, more direct way. -

Parents have already made clear these would be otherwise unwanted children. They have money for larger families, but prioritize lifestyle over family size. In fact, they overwhelmingly choose to have the bare minimum (1 or 2 kids) to satisfy their biological urges.
Subsidizing unwanted babies would seem like a liability. Communities would normally raise kids, but selfish rich white people give few fucks about things like that, as they disperse their own communities in search of the means to lease their new Premium Plus Q8. -

that's quite a generalisation. even if it is true in 100% of cases, though, do you not think it's more worthwhile to attempt to change the situation rather than letting Rhodesia slide into Zimbabwe? -

it's observably true, generally speaking. there are even political candidates who campaign on these issues, promoting marriage, families, and Christian values. they get no votes to speak of.
i'd argue that wrong incentives produce unwanted and feral kids which is a cost to society, not a gain.
maybe if you had strong authoritarian control? i don't know. -

The benefit of operating like this is that if someone disagrees with this policy or tries to argue it's morality or effectiveness, it's clear what to do: you should just kill them
This gives you very high social velocity towards accomplishing whatever goal you want to accomplish.
Then you have to deal with the consequences of the previous actions. Very simple:
If someone disagrees that you should not be reported or prosecuted then you should just kill them.
The success of this method relies entirely upon you picking the timings for your kills wisely and figuring out when the disagreement is large enough to just kill people over. And also on you acting fast and efficiently.
Otherwise if it's not worth killing someone over then you just shouldn't even care and move on with your life. Just drop the issue.
Other people see it as "losing", you just have priorities. If you disagree with someone and it's not worth killing them over then it's not worth bothering to pursue that disagreement. Just move on.
Otherwise if someone really disagrees with you on something serious and tries to stop you from achieving your intended outcome, just kill them -
