   As some of you may know I'm pretty "anti fiction" reading these days...having consumed a lot of fiction as a kid and a teen I now mostly focus on non-fiction where I can actually learn something useful.
   
   However I broke down this week and ordered the John Carter series of books by old Eddie Burroughs from Thriftbooks.com
   
   I like the movie and thought...I wonder if the books are better. They were $13 for the first 5 books in the series so I thought "why not nigga, why the hell not"...worst case I can use it as fire lighters in the event of a state wide power outage.
