I much prefer the rough and tumble styles of the southern artists that lived in times of government occupation and had to make do with what they had, old ww2 radios and libyan import drum and bass machines but really shows the emergence of the style with albums such as "ain't no wrong when yo gettin fukd up 4 real"
"it gonna be the troubles 2 for yo block"
and of course the rare "yo shit's dry over here, hit us up to trade dope 4 dope" where they put the squabble aside to get high and featured on each others albums
I think scottish grime took a bit of style influence from the scene
