Dude samw I remember how dark it was with the implications the deku king was torturing the monkey for spite. The great fairies were all highly sexualized and the banking system is more complex than most games.
Breath of the wild is sick as well and went in a different direction but majoras mask and AoT ate top tier games as well. I like majoras best because there's so much side quest and story it really sucks u in and you're not just trying to stack items or points or whatever because its so fleeting. The style makes important things imperative and requires a specific strategy to make work. Fuck I wanna play it right frigging now -

2022-11-09 at 6:30 AM UTCWe go to work, lose contact of ones we love or used to love, the world is in it's worse collective existance that it was since the dark ages with hundreds of years of pandemics and church oppression controlling the laws and we just say "Whats the fucking point" and just do whatever.
but it was interesting coming on here 5 years ago ot close to six now and things were better then now but everyone had some struggle in their lives and then as DH shows up, they brought the Pandemic with them and things just went south really fucking fast.
Honestly I saw the background of totse, and someone in my building or on my block posted the name as the SSID of their router
I wont say who but a certain bloke told me it was Lanny living here in the Berkeley Area before going to be withWintermute
One of the weirdest things was seeing one person die after another in such a short fucking time from drugs, suicide or suicide by drugs or because drugs were in them that they suicided.
5 people though someone said it's closer to 7.
yet no one really grasps that and it for a small population online as regulars, thats kind of News Worthy. like be happy the news didn't have a reporter be interested in a website that normally wouldn't be bothered with.

Scron is right, play Majora's Mask. It's elevator pitch is a 3 day "ground hog day" time loop, but you're trying to stop that fucking moon from crashing into the planet. It's there, getting closer, every time you gaze upward. Also the game starts off as body horror, with your character's body transfigured by a magical dickhead scarecrow into a terrible new form - trapped, cursed - and your first groundhog day cycle is just you trying to regain your actual body.
And I'm not just being facetious here, and using my adult brain to make events that are played cutesy sound horrifying - the game is spooky, ominous, and does not shy away from acknowledging the horror.
Oh, but it's cutesy alright. On day 1 of the cycle. Day 2 it gets a little more normal. And day 3 is... less cute. Everyone is too scared to be cute. The moon is like 500 feet above the town and everyone is hours away from imminent cosmic horror apocalyptic death. -

Even if it was just cutesy babby stuff - and it is that, to an extent, overall - it'd still just be a fantastic game. Play it you fuck. )
