could they really be that fucking dumb? what smtp server would accept that many recipients?
I could see them doing that with staff but no, I don't think it's even possible with all the users at once
I used to work with real estate bulk mailers and they'd have to break recipients down to like 200 (bcc) per send for the server to even accept it. I guess if they owned the server they could fuck up performance and look extremely suspicious to anti-spam appliances by taking recipient limits off, but if you're sending to 10,000 recipients directly no sane receiving server is going to handle that message
