Very often my tik-tok I get comments saying there are no good Russians and the only good Russians are dead Russians.. so, in that sense I guess he did become the best Russian of all, didn't he?

    Damn, that's sad. "cold world"

those two theaters also served as US military Disneyland for grunts to earn their stars and flags to put on their chest and polish their CV and earn discounts from tactical dressing stores.

"americans" cherish their "vets" and afghan and iraq were this generation's best chances to be a proud "vets".

idk about the thing with osama getting raided in abot abad. it could very well be staged. anyway by killing him "america" had conceded defeat as the original stated goal was to bring him to justice. i'm pretty sure putting boolerts between his eyes wasn't justice.

    its prole feed.

sounds like you missed the sarcasm. point is over 20 years of occupation, they only really managed to control sections of Kabul and Kandahar - even when they pulled out they couldn't lock down the highway between the embassy and the airbase so they used helicopters to ferry embassy spooks between the two.

A lot of people struggle with what we're doing over there.

It's not like 1915 where at age 18 u go and fight and have to wear a mask to avoid mustard gas & climb in a trench and gut someone that looks like your cousin, now at 2,000meters u just fire a bullet at anyone carrying a shovel, feels like it won't bother u, but when u find out he was literally carrying home his free shovel to scrap for metal value, it kinda wears at you.

FOLKS the US is fighting a war against people who don't have running water and really *EN MASSE* just want to be left alone. ya youre gonna be like damn why i do dat when they drop u off at a subway near the recruitment station and yell THANKS

The original reason for the corridor to be opened were the claims that poorer countries (Africa, middle east) would face famine with the drop in exports, but as it turns out around 90% of the grain exported went to the EU to drive their prices down anyway.

So a few days after this happened, Russia and Turkey agreed to reopen the grain corridor and allow shipments to continue - I couldn't work out why given nothing had changed, Ukraine had just agreed not to use the corridor for attacks anymore.

Turns out they're now redirecting the grain shipments to poor African countries for free, which would ostensibly drive food prices up in the EU and deprive Ukraine of a revenue stream

That's kind of funny. Do you suppose Russia is gonna sit it out through the winter and hope Europe comes hat in hand? The Netherlands exports one Germany worth in terms of what Germany eats. So what's it gonna be? A bunch of the small to medium sized countries, or Germany. I have a feeling it's gonna be Germany, and there's a lot that makes me say that. For one they are one of our biggest trade partners, they are a net producer in the EU just not of foodstuffs, and in a lot of ways the EU is a little like Germany but by other means.

Germany strong, Holland rich. France can go fucking figure it out they are a net producer too. Guess everyone else is shit out of luck.

yea, your sarcasm flew over my head. use better delivery vehicle next time.

anyway, my point stands, the only reason the US managed to control those areas was because they managed to bribe the local/regional warlords into letting them stay,

bribing the warlords with pallets of cash when theyre lucky, or bacha bazis when theyre unlucky.

what its about. i got 'connection interrupted'.

germany will be weak without cheap russian energy or coal.

holland will be weak without illicit drug trades.

france will be strong because it will become an islamic country.
