You're more likely to get bored in the city than in the countryside, buy some land and you'll never have a bored moment tending to it, growing veggies chickens and burning wooden crosses on your front yard etc. -

Not a bad idea about the truck so if you go to town drinking you can sleep in it.
We ride snowmobiles in winter to the bars/restaurants and side by sides in the summer so we dont have to worry about getting pulled over.
The city and the 30 mile radius of a little less than 10k has many bars and restaurants. If thats an option for you its the way to go.
The peace and quiet alone is enough for me to want to live in a rural area. If you want excitement drive to the city. If you live in the city theres no getting away from it -

The pluses for me of living in an urban area are basically lots of bars and restaurants, my family lives there, late night shopping, which with covid is less and less, and closeness to a lot of jobs.
Then it sounds like the decision is made. -

2022-11-03 at 3:56 PM UTCThere are only 2 things that are better about city living. Low commute time and amenities.

Motorcycles are much better in the country than in stop and go city traffic. -
