Spark plugs all came with incorrect gap?

2022-10-11 at 3:58 PM UTCAc Delco " double platinum" supposed to be .035" , 6 were .04" and two were ~.044.
Also they didn't have any tube around the threads/electrode I thought maybe they were a return but they seem clean and the boxes weren't wrinkled up like they'd been gotten into.
I thought the cheap gap gauge/tool mighta been junk but two others measured the same.
I've never bothered to check gaps before , maybe they're commonly incorrect. -

Its common for gaps to be all over. Think of all the shit that can happen in shipping alone. Always check gap and adjust as necessaryThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Gap Gauge meassures a Gap-Spark. I learned that on youtube where the gap-spark creates radio waves. this is how the Marconi/Tesla did their THANG back in the day. noticed a spark gap would repeate itself with a cable distanced the same thing in a semi cirle/horse shoe shape without anything hooked up to the latter. this makes a static sound on a radio receiver mimicking the spark gap receiver.
first Morse Code then Human voice followed by background music before direct musical devices where set up (Mic for live band or a record player obviously)
So what I get out ofWaluigi'sOP's post is that he is planning on jamming local airwaves while climbing to the top of a GWEN Tower n Sheeeiiiittt -

the greater the distance I think increases the charge voltage and this might start a fire or burn fuel less efficiently
no clue how I figured that out. Of course, it could go the opposite and be more efficient with 0.45 and you're also a fagbutt -

I doubt this could hurt someone with the sparkplug going off in the van unless he truly is planning on jamming then that's on him not me.

You can spend half your life trying to get the gap perfect and then checking it every month ...or you can say "fuck it" and just drive.
After initially being in the "Ohhh it's out of spec" camp for a few years I since adopted the "fuck it"philosophy and never noticed any fucking difference at all.

imho spark plug gaps is only important on 2 stroke bikes where fouling is a normal occurence.
