I have managed my own properties since day one. On the couple of occasions I have attempted to hire a property manager, I ended up leaving them rather quickly with the realization that I will do things ten times better!
I don’t say this to brag; I’ve learned from experience that I can manage my properties, and I can maximize my returns.
It all comes down to knowing that nobody cares about your property or about your investment as much as you do. Your best bet is to manage them yourself.
