Ooops.
Declaring war on DPR means recognizing DPR as a country, which is one of the reasons Europe was so reticent to officially pick a side in the US civil war IIRC but i migth be rong about that im rly tired. -
2022-09-20 at 11:52 AM UTCIn previous wars it was customary for foreign fighters to be given citizenship and commission in an army (chosen based on convenience) in order to avail of the Geneva protocols, for instance with the various misguided fools who fought against Hitler.
Of course knowing Ukrainian bureaucracy a citizenship application probably takes 24 months and in-person visits to a dozen offices at least. -

If it's true it marks the unequivocal graduation from 'proxy war' to direct participation.

Telegram, Russian blogs like Andrei Martyanov and Boris Rozhin/colonelcassad
if you weren't retarded you'd realise that I was questioning the claims they made, not just blindly reposting like this:

that and there are literally two claims in that post and one of them, the offensive being 10-12k men strong is at the low end of most estimates on either side... so there's 'half' of them for you -

The Soviets fell into the same trap in the same place in WWII. -
2022-09-20 at 7:55 PM UTCwhat, dummy hardware? everyone uses it, nowadays they're mostly big inflatable things, like SAM-themed jumping castles
the rest of that video is just repeating Ukrainian claims that we really haven't lost anything and the Russians are going to run out of fuel/ammo/drones any day now -

2022-09-20 at 8:03 PM UTCHow the hell does a Ukrainian turn into a Russian? One's a Nazi and the other is a communist. That's like a crocodile turning into a bear.

2022-09-20 at 9:11 PM UTCit's hard to believe RT is even supported by the Russian government nowadays, they run so many opeds that are completely contrary to both the MoD line and the facts on the ground that it's bizarre
their reporting quality in general has fallen apart over the last five years or so but their messaging on the Ukraine war is just... nonsensical -

Nobody worth a shit stayed with RT after the Ukraine invasion. Maybe you missed out on context being Asian and Australian and having that cool business-like Pacific vibe going on, but that was a real big fucking deal here in Europe. -

is it because they got banned across the EU? I guess that'd strip most of their local offices -
