We coulda just been normal, but instead we have to insist society stop calling breastfeeding "breastfeeding" and that society instead start calling it "chestfeeding". Why? What does this accomplish? A couple nonbinary people and ftm trannies feel mildly less awkward about breastfeeding (trust me if just hearing the name is a problem, calling it anything else isn't going to help that much - calling shit "chocolate" doesn't make eating it any less unpleasant), and in return all it takes is demanding everyone simultaneously delete a word from their vocabulary and replace it with a new one under pain of being labelled irredeemably evil. Why? Why is the happiness of those trannies worth more than the happiness of everyone who'd be upset by it? How is expecting the trannies to just be mildly displeased by the term "breastfeeding" some great injustice that requires societal intervention? Why is it that it seems to be the case that literally anything that negatively effects the happiness of like .5% of the population is being treated the same way? Trannies have experienced actual injustices, it does not mean that everything which upsets them is unjust. Other people have feelings too. ffs
It's hard to reason about any of it when using vague groupings like 'society' and 'trannies'.
Like what I see online is mostly narcissistic little fucks who can't imagine the world not revolving around them. Or man-children who got into a battle of wills with their parents and just never gave up.
These faggots are so fucked up they can't recognize allies, and attack people who are sympathetic to them, which just results in hostility. I sometimes wonder if they're misery and oppression fetishists.
But when you disregard these yelling banshees (not easy) there are actual trannies who essentially just want to live their lives without being held to chad stereotypes.

more or less. trans- is a latin prefix meaning beyond/across/through, and vestio is latin for clothing. transvestitism, therefore, is "through clothing" or "acrossclothing": crossdressing, if you will.
idk how tf to define transgender anymore in a way that won't get you lynched by somebody but yes, it is more 'snippy snippy and implants' than simply 'wearing a dress'. you can crossdress and be man, indeed for it to be crossdressing at all it would have to be the case that you didn't identify as the gender associated with the clothing you were wearing. transgender is about more than clothes. snippy snippy and implants sounds skin deep tho, and transgender needn't just be skin deep. that shit goes to the soooooul if you believe in such things.
