My first day. Well at the airport there was a lot of screaming telling us to get upstairs. So I got on the escalator and looking down I saw a navy suitcase with a red box inside and wires, and a man working frantically at it. Then at Gare du Nord I got off a train, rounded a corner to go up the stairs then heard explosions behind me, saw two white flashes and heard people screaming. I actually managed to navigate the trains and get to the hostel without any problems. That first night I ended up playing beer pong with these people. A lovely guy called Remy would high-five and hug me a lot, he gave me one of his bracelets. There was Mudit from India, Kat from London and Mark from America. We all sat beside the Seine drinking all night. Jamie from Brighton then joined us. At about 3am I went with Mark, the 47 yr old American, into the mens disabled toilets to do coke. I wasn't even looking for coke and it was my first night there lmao. Some local Frenchman came over to harass us and I threw my bottle of water over him. At about 5am I was the first one to go to bed.
cool story. looks like the train station at 42nd street in NYC where 2 Nat Guards were watching people.
all over NYC I would see this. never here in the bay area. though we didn't get attacked two of the planes were heading this way initially.
so only the city to get hit has National Guards standing post all over areas where tourist exist the most? we did have them on the Golden Gate bridge for a while and a few at SFO but not anymore. not since maybe 2010 yet in NYC and Paris and London they're all over the fucking place
