    This is legal sort of because it doesn't track in real time. it saves location to a sim card. which is why no one is buying it except spouses.

    the mini tracker is a dollar cheaper which tracks in real time. I think that is the illegal one to use. tracking is illegal but recording the location of your own vehicle if you loan it to your girlfriend "Honey, take my car instead. I'm taking yours to the shop for an oil change sweety"
