On the contrary, I will take a stand on any issue at any time, regardless of how fraught with controversy it might be. You have asked me how I feel about pedophiles. All right, this is how I feel about pedophiles:
If when you say pedophiles you mean the devil incarnate, the wicked scourge, the bloody monster, that defiles innocence, deflowers toddlers, destroys the home, creates misery and poverty, yea, literally puts its dick in the mouths of little children; if you mean the beast that topples the Christian man and woman from the pinnacle of righteous, gracious living into the bottomless pit of degradation, and despair, and shame and helplessness, and hopelessness as they see what's been done to their child, then certainly I am against them.
But, if when you say pedophiles you mean the oil of forum conversation, the philosophers of anal tonguefucking, the easy target that is bullied when good fellows get together, that puts a song of hatred in their hearts and laughter on their lips as they talk shit, and the fiery glow of resentment in their eyes; if you mean graffik design; if you mean the stimulating discussion of computer security that puts the spring in an old admin's step on a bot-ridden, advertisement-filled morning; if you mean posters who enable a man to magnify his sense of how our species truly acts, and what we're capable of, and to remember, if only for a little while, our individual capacity for causing life's great tragedies, and heartaches, and sorrows for others; if you mean that chink, the presence of whom pours into our registries untold thousands of posts, which are used to provide raucous laughter for our mentally handicapped trolls, our autists, our deadbeats, our dumb, our pitiful aged and infirm like spectral; to makes a community, from threads, and our posts, then certainly I am for them.
