an asbestos holster would do the trick, you could toast that toast until the wires melted off and stick it right back in your pocket like nothing happened. The melted copper would burn through your pants before having a chance to damage the toaster and with that money back guarantee you cant possibly go wrong

The heat gets converted into savings and you can stick that wad of cash right back in your wallet knowing your durable asbestos sheath will even protect it from a volcano eruption, looking at you MOUNT SAINT HELENS RESIDENTS!
Just wear a mask if you're gonna be using it because our scientists are concerned about the souls of dead children with breathing problems haunting their nightmares but that's probably kids who died in fires caused by non asbestos sheathed pocket toasters
