   You should be able to now. The same thing was broken for you as RisiR, specifically when merging you into the STM account if you thanked a post that STM had then the merge would violate the "no double thanking" db constraint.

    It's a small thing but it helps forum coherency, there are enough people posting now that you can't really read every thread. It would be nice if we could read through the topic forums that we're interested in instead of having to page through GS or latest threads. So please check if there's a relevant topical forum before making a new thread in GS.
    
    I really don't want to have to police this, it'd be nice if we could work as a community to better the place a little bit.
