What the fuck is an 'Assault Weapon'?
-
2022-09-01 at 8:14 PM UTCnot a gun expert howeger who in the fuck gets to define "Mass Shooting" as 4 or moor killed in a shooting by a single shooter?
Shooting and killing are two different things. I guess a mass is more than 9, 18, 24? They define it as 4 or more killed. Not hit by fragments or bullets or flying debris
So if 4 bullets or more is fired regardless of people being struck or not is a mass shooting?
People are firing bullets ever fucking day.
Rent a car. (Please don't do this) in your mind, how many people do you think you could murder by playing GTA in real life?
I don't understand far left retarded-think. If you take people's gun rights away then only criminals will own guns they already have or purchase. There are at least a billion firearms floating around and ghost shops will increase. It's better to allow gun ownership because if a person is suspect, you do a barrel test on his or her weapon with the aide of a search warrant. Then give it back if it comes up clean. Will a criminal with an illegally purchased weapon be found with no registration or purchase info? -

just ban guns globally, make them all illegal, everywhere.
It works great in every country that already does this. -

Your mental is ill my friend. welcome to my SSRI world. even I can see if you take guns away, people lose their shit, they will find other ways to murder a mass of people
example. Parade. an a Rented U-Haul loaded with scrap steal, crushed cars, rocks or bolders.
I bet any amount of money with the right fucking timing, you could blow through a barrier (please dont so I dont get into trouble for giving you advice that's fucking obvious anyways) and just plow into as many people in the parade or sidewalk participants or watchers of parade.
Scary thought I had. 8 rows of humans lined up from the street curb to the buildings behind them for over a mile long at the San Francisco Giants Victory parade back in 2012 (or 2014 or some shit) and if someone had a rented truck. they could of murdered, maimed or injured thousands and thousands of people. where to run? where to hide from a truck getting up to 60-80 miles an hour?
we gonna ban rental trucks now? and you can be mentally sick and still rent one. dumb cunt. You can be a former criminal and probably rent one in most states. -

The fact that you're talking about mass violence shows just how much you've allowed the media to shift the narrative.
What about SUICIDE
what about GANG VIOLENCE
What about DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Lets make it harder for those people to get guns too, yea? Not just mass murderers.
Easily doable in 100yrs. -

Originally posted by Steven I am a new gun owner. Never really had much of a thing for guns. They're fun to shoot and I feel safer having one in my home. However, I believe American society would probably be better off if we restricted access to guns to LE and gun clubs (ala Europe). I'm in favor of federal gun regulation reform.
But this 'assault weapon/assault rifle' thing has to be the dumbest shit. Just a catchphrase they can throw around in the media. I never know what they're actually trying to ban until I look into it.
Just makes those who push sensible steps towards gun reform look like idiots that don't know anything about guns. It's always some magazine limit or stock restriction being pushed as an 'assault weapon ban'.
It would be nice if media pundits actually explained the legislation they're reporting on from time to time.
This is a salt weapon
