  5. I haven't powered it up yet, The PSU has a Rifa cap in it and any nerd who knows his shit knows that thing is gonna burn and smoke after 40yrs when you power it up and so to change it out BEFORE you do.

    I ordered a modern replacement from digikey which should be here Thursday.

    Said Rifa Cap.

  16. Anyway vincent...if you look closely at my photo of said RIFA you'll see the body of it is cracked...100% a cracked RIFA is going to BLOW. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon..and for the rest of your life.

  20. New Rifa Cap arrived for the Apple II. Installed, powered on, works..some keys need a bit of work (contact cleaner) other than that another amazing thrifting story for your consumption.
