   i just bought some 'real' honey at a fair the other day. i sampled 3 or 4 allegedly different ones and each one tasted the same, looked the same, and had the same viscosity. from memory there was orange blossom, palmetto, clover, and another one that i cant remember...some flower thing.
   
   the palmetto one MAY have been slightly sweeter/less tart but i dont see how a beekeeper can be so sure of where his little flocks are actually out wandering off and flower-sucking.
   
   yes, i know that some beekeepers 'rent' their hive boxes out to orange groves, but the saw palmettos are out in the middle of BFE and the little bastards can stop anywhere along the way to suck on a flower. for instance...i have a triangle palm that when it flowers i get massive swarms...hundreds and hundreds maybe...and im relatively sure theyre domesticated bees. how do you market 'triangle palm honey'
   
   and that has nothing to do with you triangle-retards...they really are called 'triangle palms'
   
   the place where i do a lot of my model photography has a fuck ton of hives nearby. one chick even pissed a bee off to where it stung her. (yes, i did post pics, previously)
   
   also...theres a dude i know who has a shed in the back yard with a hive. if i get particularly brave i might take a picture

   Sorry I didn't answer that the first time I'm a scatter brain sometimes.
   The flow hive in my opinion is utter bullshit,I watched the you tube vid and I can tell you that If you tap a hive like that every bee within 2 miles will be ALL OVER IT,they can smell it.
   Then they talk about no need to open the hive Bla bla bla ,you need to do inspections on a regular basis in order to see whats happening.
   So far I have not seen any reputable people recommend the flow hive, I think it was a kickstarter thing just to get some money.
   Are there better hive systems than I'm using yes but flow hive isn't it.

   Bee's are fucking cool, I'd love to have some bees at some point. I was trying to take pictures of bees the other day when I was sat outside smoking a spliff by the flowers

    That's what I was wondering. I kind of thought hmm, if it really was that great wouldn't everyone who kept bees have one or at least know a lot about them. Thanks for the info.

    Thats the thing. Bees's want to grow if you provide and nurture them they will grow and you will get more.
    If I do things correctly this summer next year I will have 4 hives not 2.
    And hopefully have a ton of honey.
