Humans are at the point we could live without the sun...nuclear powered underground bases could keep humans alive indefinitely...obviously not all humans just the important ones...we have beaten nature...well unless nature threw a fuckoff big rock at the Earth shattering it into a gazillion pieces.
...but even then very shortly (relatively) we'll have the technology to space-fare to other systems anyway and upload ourselves into sexual robots...but then will these sexual robots from the quantum void still be...'Human'. -

Again, Mr. Hatch is correct. The human design is terrible. It could be worse, of course, but it could be so much better. Like for fucks sake if we could float around thing how much more awesome that would be. Our stupid bodies can't even float around on their own. -

If it hit right now we would be...but check back in 1000years...which is a relative "blink of the eye" as far as life on Earths history goes...we'll have already left Earth and be exploring the galaxy...the Earth being destroyed will not be the end of humans.
