Whether she discreetly cheated w the president & his brother or not.
She was not that movement. The movement signifies equal rights. That movement centered around the protest of The Miss America pageant. That movement encouraged women to be independent from men and to discard things like bras, girdles, and high heels. The movement encouraged women to be the the exact opposite of everything that Marilyn was. -
2022-07-27 at 2:27 AM UTCIn summation Marilyn Monroe was a nigger but yes she was attractive.
Thanks. -
2022-07-27 at 2:29 AM UTCI don't even understand what's happening here anymore. But yeah let's burn our bras just not the expensive ones.

2022-07-27 at 2:31 AM UTCShe began that movement & controlled the narrative. No one before her had shown their bodies openly. It doesn’t matter how u come to change, it’s how u take control of it. If u don’t feel powerful it speaks on ur self value.

Idk mang, retroactively she's come to embody the "use whatcho mama gave ya to finesse dudes and become a fifth column in a man's world" and maybe that's kinda been imposed on her and not based in reality but God Bless her she tried.
She's so fucking America she banged Joe Dimaggio and JFK and a ton of other symbols of the country. She was also the first person to fuck an apple pie and a bald eagle at the same time.
But she really did finesse her way to icon status. I think Anna Nicole Smith is kinda forgivable too so wtf do I know? -

2022-07-27 at 2:34 AM UTCRemember that movie where Annie Leibowitz, Susan Sontag and Marilyn Monroe all dyked it out on the top floor of the empire skate building? Stunning, brave and empowering

2022-07-27 at 2:38 AM UTCIs there anything more jedi than destroying your own clothes to express how "liberated" you feel?

2022-07-27 at 3 AM UTCThere are books and college courses taught about what people think MM "represents" "embodies" and "means" but she was a flawed human who ascended to great heights and pushed the woman's movement forward at the expense of her own mental health/career. It's crazy and tragic she didn't have any kids. I think her an Miller would have had the most stable ones
