I do. I have a couple epenpals in different places around the world, the only one I send money periodically to is my friend in The Gambia because he struggles and I can't see my friend struggling.
So yes, I do, but I understand I can only help so many people and choose to help those locally that are hard on their luck and my friend in The Gambia who was given a life that was extremely hard. -

Not really. If I don't know someone, I struggle to feel emotionally connected to them in a way that I would deprive myself of happiness or resources to see better off.
Though I do feel bad for North Koreans but don't know any of them. That's the only group my heart goes out to without any form of knowledge of.
