I have degenerative rheumatoid arthritis, I've had it for several years and because I began seeing a rheumatologist in 2013 they had about 5-6 years of annual X-rays, blood tests, visits and check ups from my rheumatologist and most importantly all the medicaitons that have been perscribed to me.
Most people are unable to walk within a decade after onset, I have juvenile onset, I first noticed it when I was about 15 or so, that being said I can walk without a cane and feel no pain in my body and haven't been taking my meds for three months but I plan to start them at the beginning of August when I go to see a rheumatologist here in Miami.
Not mental health, that's only really <1yr recent, unless you count intermediate insomnia which has been for about 8 years that I get ambien here and there for.
So no one denied me cuz it's black and white, despite my age, and I was approved within 11 months. But I do yoga everyday, walk, don't eat processed foods, and now that I'm not drinking alcohol and sleeping 8 hours a night, I feel very little pain, except in the mornings my knees kinda hurt walking down the stairs and I have moderate pain in my wrists and hands. -
