Nothing like this exist anymore. Houses could be bought for less than 120k in the early 80s that go for over a million now.
This place got raped and I blame the high tech for it. They brought the jobs but all the money went into the system. High rent. Higher prices at restaurants, bars, theater tickets. 6 figure salary here is 45k in the Midwest

I have lots to say. I've seen a beautiful place turn into a 1970s junky NYC with graffiti everywhere and shit rise in crime in every city. Every city has become East Oakland during the crack epidemic of the 80 and 90s. It's even getting dangerous to walk the back lit streets of Walnut Creek these days.
I have lots to say. I saw a dude scoping my car looking inside it just the other day and got very vocal about breaking his fucking neck.
Times have changed for the worse.
