Local cab drivers keep getting charged with raping passengers. Usually read about it once a month in the paper which means it happens at least 10 times more frequently
A few years ago I was drinking with my friend and we took a cab and my buddy decided to antagonize the cabbie asking what hes going to do when Uber comes to town and takes all his business. He got really angry and said "you dont know whose car youre getting into. You could end up in a back alley with a dick up your ass...because that never happens...Ive seen it" and Ive never forgotten that because he was sarcastic then immediately corrected it so we knew he had first hand witnessed cabbies raping people. -

How many separate felonies have you been convicted of? Just 1, you're probably ok. More than 2 and it's going to be difficult to get actual work -

I have 2 that were part of one case (drug distribution) & 1 from when I was 17 and my friend broke his wrist.
My drug case is from 2013, the felony from 2010.
No violent cases, no theft charges. -

Then you should be ok. They really dwell on theft. Violence could be a liability but the theft is the one to worry about -

I record the inside and leave audio off until something sparks up a Convo which I just tap the button. Now it's audio and video.
But the truth is you would loose your job. They would shut you down if you ended the AP and hooked up with the customer or even exchanged numbers. Because they too are held responsible. You sign an agreement to meet people for personal matters on your own time. Including business deals.
You're there to pick them up and drop them off. So this is something not to fuck with. -
