That'll always GET MY GOAT. I just don't get it.
Most bartenders in the United States of America make probably 50 dollars an hour just because tips. If I got just One Dollar (why did I capitalize those two words idk) for every meal I made I would also make 40-50 an hour. Life would be good.
Why don't I get that? Tell me! Lol
Because you agreed to be way cheaper. Simple as that. -

Well sure but it's not "as simple as that." I'm more wondering why has it become generally normal to tip a bartender for every single drink they give you but not a cook for every single meal they prepare for you?
I know it's not gonna change but it's just something I ponder from time to time. You're right though I definitely need to reevaluate my life and find a path where I can feel more appreciated. -

2022-06-24 at 4:58 PM UTCactually this one has incredible potential for value as it turns out KAFKA is the name of a crypto blockchain company and we have CRYPTOGRAPHICAL PROOF that this wasn't minted TODAY or whenever "KAFKA" becomes mainstream and blows up in value. This is likely one of the first and earliest NFT's and fungible proof of a "KAFKA" on the blockchain, whatever that is
I don't know why she used that as a name. I saw it randomly reading a ripto and shat myself

Because people believe you are already being fairly compensated for your labour by the cost of the meal.
Also many people assume tips are shared and they are some places, most just won't bother to check at all and just assume it all goes to the right places. -

I'm speaking generally. If I open a tab I usually tip what would amount to about a dollar per drink when I close it out. From all my life's experience drinking in drinking establishments, roughly a dollar tip per drink seems to be the norm macdonald. -
