Ninety percent of people shot don't actually die of their injuries, they die of shock. Same with deer, moose, rabbits, all kinds of game animals. -

the party line is that the war was fought because 'slavery is bad', but Lincoln was willing to support amendments to the constitution protecting it if the South were to give up their economic power and he was quite open about his belief that blacks should never be given full equality
The war was fought over the issue of slavery itself. Right or wrong, thats what it was over. Do you have a source for Lincoln allowing slavery to continue if the south gave up its "economic power" and what that would entail? That doesnt sound true and definitely doesnt sound realistic in any way, shape or form.
Regardless, we will never know because history proved the war was fought with slavery being the point of contention. Saying it was about economic primacy is like saying edward snowden is exiled for being a hacker. -

it was called the Corwin Amendment and would've explicitly made the legal status of slavery a state matter. -

Jus read a lil about it and it had nothing to do with economic power whatsoever and would have just made slavery a state issue without guaranteeing its expansion and preservation...which was why southern states wouldnt adopt it. Literally the only downside, besides getting back into the US, was it didnt guarentee slaverys protection forever
Im actually pro non racialized slavery as a small business owner who exploits addicts with carrot and stick tactics. Capitalism necessitates the exploitation of workers but some protections should be enabled because it does say in the old testie something about how its not ok to beat your slave to death. Unions are terrible things, almost 100% of the time. The civil war was definitely about slavery though. Any small bidnis owner will fight for the right to abuse their laborers -

it was one measure of many to try to stop open warfare, but the point is that Lincoln and the North in general weren't overly concerned about 'freeing the slaves'. slavery was just one of the main engines that powered the cotton industry that they needed to dismantle

can't disagree much, except maybe with the bit about unions -

The majority of Americans or Congress will almost certainly officiate it as legal all over again. It won't be called roe vs Wade anymore but perhaps the 28th amendment ? -

you need 3/4 states to agree in a referendum to amend the US constitution
the whole Roe v Wade thing is about a federal precedent, it's not an amendment -
2022-06-25 at 7 AM UTCAverage everyday criminals of the non-cyber variety are dumb as fuck. And it makes makes me mad. They'll never make the money they set out to make, the are too retarded to take advice, even when outsourcing they don't give anything a second thought. I should sell some of these people bombs, that have GPS and are activated with a phone call, then when they get home i'll set them off. I'll add shrapnel for a death radius.
Why the fuck not they won't know the difference. Police will attribute to misadventure.
Since they are dumb though, they will get caught soon enough. And it's a blessing in disguise really it says in big neon letters don't do business with me i am retarded. -

Get a pan, put some water in, now put in a beaker, or a flask with more water. Add to the water some citric acid, just squeezing a lemon will probably do. Add 10g of Crouton if you usually take 7.5. Heat it slowly over an hour or so but don't let it boil. Strain. Out the liquid back in and reduce it to an amount you are comfortable drinking.
