   I'm usually completely against anything Zuckerberg does, but I'm actually really impressed by it. It is really polished and the software for it is very impressive and easy to use and doesn't lock you down too much. I was expecting much worse. For €350 compared to €1k+ for other brands it's a pretty good bargain.

   Wander is a cool app to get, it's like street view google Earth. I use it to walk around my old home town back in England and stalk ex girlfriends homes without the risk of a restraining order.

    Also check out sidequest, it's free...it's an "alternate" marketplace for VR games and apps, many of them free...such as quakeVR etc. You have to install sidequest on a PC then install stuff from it over to the Quest 2 (either wired or over wifi)

    Also worth buying a new head strap rather than using the crappy one that comes with it, makes it much more comfortable..there's a tonne of different ones in the $20-$50 range, don't buy the official oculus "elite" one, it's poop.

    Had my first metaverse accident yesterday, I was playing super hot and dodged behind a counter to shelter from some bullets, then I tried to lean on a box to get up quickly and fell right through it.
