It is really polished and the software for it is very impressive and easy to use and doesn't lock you down too much. I was expecting much worse. For €350 compared to €1k+ for other brands it's a pretty good bargain.

2022-06-22 at 8:24 PM UTCWander is a cool app to get, it's like street view google Earth. I use it to walk around my old home town back in England and stalk ex girlfriends homes without the risk of a restraining order.

2022-06-22 at 8:43 PM UTCAlso check out sidequest, it's free...it's an "alternate" marketplace for VR games and apps, many of them free...such as quakeVR etc. You have to install sidequest on a PC then install stuff from it over to the Quest 2 (either wired or over wifi)

2022-06-24 at 1:28 PM UTCAlso worth buying a new head strap rather than using the crappy one that comes with it, makes it much more comfortable..there's a tonne of different ones in the $20-$50 range, don't buy the official oculus "elite" one, it's poop.
