This entire discourse is essentially an exercise in attempting to yell loud enough so the only one youâre hearing is yourself talking⌠Trying to change someone, and their views, is like throwing gasoline on this dumpster fire of a thread and expecting it to extinguish the flame.
Resorting to personal attacks is weak sauce for losers whoâve already lost the debate.
Our political opinions emanate from our personal cultural backgrounds..This explains why yâall get so emotional and butthurt about politics and why political compromise is essentially impossible. When someone criticizes your political beliefs, you act like itâs an attack on your very being.
Political debate is futile because it is based on the naive premise that we have the capacity to consider any view that is in contrast to our beliefs. Frankly this stupid ass thread isnât going to change anyones beliefs and the fact that you canât see this and carry on with this fucking nonsense discredits any of the crap you choose to post here.

I more meant that democracy has always just been majority rule that descends into fixed voting blocs that have fixed interests and that become increasingly hostile and unwilling to compromise with one another
the goal of the US constitution was largely to prevent that but it becomes less and less effective the more it's 'reinterpreted' for partisan benefit

Was there any police precincts looted during the BLM protests? There was chaz or whatever but did they actually occupy the police precinct anywhere and/or burn it down? If they occupied it they could get info on police officers home addresses, paychecks, weapons, files etc I feel like that would be something that would actually scare them
