The proud boys and oath keepers were well organized for this and the rest were caught up in it. There were a group of proud boys that didn’t even go to the rally, at 10:30 a group of 250-300 of them went to the Capitol before the police were even aware what was going on. They were going in in “stacks” a maneuver used by the military.
I know the BLM protests made you mad, but this is nothing like it and you know it.
Could be applied to BLM protests as well.

I listened to it on NPR, and pretty much none of it sounded like new information. BLM and January 6th were both mobs brought together by false information and politicians attempting to wield the people to intimidate and destabilize the opposition. Main difference being January 6th was a single day. They didnt kill anybody. Nobody set the capitol building on fire. The security footage shows most of the alleged insurrectionists walking around taking selfies.

Protests that turn into riots have nothing to do with stopping the electoral process. That was the plan, to just stop the electoral count since pence wasn’t going to take the fake electors. If they could have stopped it, there would have been ongoing conflicting discussions on supposed election fraud, that would have held up the process, and it may have never resumed. That was the plan, give trump more time to discredit our election. Had they succeeded they would have denied every voter their voice in democracy.
