I had 1000 bucks in my money bag 9 weeks ago, told GiGi to use it for needed shit like fresh fruit, eggs, veggies, occasional Burrito from Chipotle or a taqueria near by..or Chinese take out, Not nick nacks so much, though I spent like 700 myself on soft drinks (Red Bull, 20oz Soda) to wake me up, sometimes gas instead of on my card or just buying a lunch .. little shit.
Money is worth half its value pre CoViD. Maybe 60%
How did 8% gas reduction from Russia make shit cost twice as much?
Fuck this shit. I called it before when raises happen on minimum wage, which raised middle income from 18 to 27 bucks for prime drivers.
But minimum wage needs to be 25-30 bucks. 35 in Bay Area or 70 an hour between a couple, full time and overtime to live decent.

Saw some of my homeless kin at the bodega couple streets over

My friend works in IT and has gone to work for a month with a friend of her family's business, but it's illegal. They're making her work 11 hours a day everyday, no days off. They're not paying her until the end of the month and it's in cash. I don't know what she's doing or if I should be worried.
