He is not your brother in Christ. He doesn't believe in God, he doesn't believe in a soul, he doesn't believe in anything good or virtue itself. There is but one power he worships and serves and that the the power of the Chinese Communist Party. -

Scott Ritter says basically general war with Russia will happen. -
2022-06-02 at 8:52 AM UTCRitter's been wrong about a bunch of stuff lately, but the HIMARS delivery is a dangerous degree of escalation. I don't see how they could be reliably be delivered to the field without being destroyed now though

“This isn’t a forecast, but what’s already in play. The horsemen of the apocalypse are galloping ahead and we can only look towards God.” - Dmitry Medvedev to Al Jazeera.
It's 2022, the opening years of World War 3. The nukes are coming out and oil is going to $200. You people are in denial about it. Half of you won't even believe it when it happens. -

they say the same thing about all arms shipment to the ukraine but those weapon systems still ended up on the battlefield and being used on russian territory. -
2022-06-03 at 12:18 AM UTCit's just fabricated war drama desperately trying to keep an increasingly indifferent population from thinking about other things like the reasons for inflation.

what did?
as far as I know the only attacks on Russian territory have come from attack helicopters and artillery units close to the border, both of which were hardware that the Ukraine already had. The only significant attack on Russian territory has been that petrol depot; the artillery strikes only hit farms and shacks in the rural borderlands. Long range MLRS like HIMARS can potentially hit much more populated areas, accurately, from further inside the Ukraine.
As for transport small arms like MANPADs and ATGM systems are still making it to the East (largely in 'civilian aid' convoys it seems) but heavy equipment like artillery and armored vehicles don't have a chance - electrical substations along the rail lines have been destroyed meaning the only means of rail transport are diesel trains that they have very few of. The other option is road transport, and even if they don't get spotted and blasted en route they still have to get close enough to the Donbass cauldron to be effective.
I suspect that the US might even leak transport routes to the Russians to ensure they're destroyed because the Ukraine will have to pay for them either way -
2022-06-03 at 6:58 AM UTCoh lol, they're only delivering 4 HIMARS units, dunno what they're expecting that to accomplish
