I've done that in the past successfully with Direct TV card programming gear back in the 2000s when it was illegal to own and ship smart card programmers…I'd order them from a guy in Canada and he'd ship them in old rotary phones which always arrive safety.

Right, if i get unlucky though and my package gets randomly checked small though the chance may be i'd prefer to have it shipped through my relay to a safe house. One where all my other gun stuff isn't at, lel.
Now hopefully my dude will wanna take a trip to the gun store for me, but seeing as he used to be a Ranger and goes pretty regularly, i think i will be ok(Rangers lead the way!). Shipping from the States will take forever though oh well. -
2022-05-23 at 11:16 PM UTCWhat are the requirements I'm your country to purchase bullets? Surely you only need 50 rounds [one box] right?

my dad was into that satellite dish hacking too I remember the devices were weird boards that plugged into a computer and had a card slot or whatever and he had the tuner and would hack the network to get free TV and he sold the programmed cards to people for money -

That was card emulation, I did that too...basically the little board emulated a Hu-card so you didn't actually need a card and the computer did all the work. It worked great for a while but DirecTV figured out how to "hash" those too.
I used to make a pretty penny programming cards for people, I'd charge $40 per card and guarantee it for 3 months (if it got nuked I'd reprogram it for free in that 3 months). I had about 60 people bringing me cards, several of them with multiple cards so it was $2500-$3000 every 3 months for a few mins work.
It was a sad day when they released an "unhackable" card and required all card holders to upgrade to the new one.
ETA: Occasionally a card would get "looped" which basically meant it got bricked and couldn't be reprogrammed. cards themselves used to sell for about $100 each or so. I had a stack of looped cards but held onto them just in case someone figured out how to fix them...eventually a fix came along and someone was trying to sell the "rights" to it for $100k...but another community member also came up with a fix and released it for free...that was a great moment putting all those looped cards in the reader/programmer and unlooping them all, instant cash. -

he dont really ''make'' his ammo.
merely reloaded, and reassembled his used ammo.
from readily manufactured and made parts. -

No , because you already had the Whisky...If you put a bullet you purchased in a casing then you'd be right...but that's not what you are doing if you make/cast your own bullets from a block of lead.
So dumb. -

Again, casting a bullet from a lump of lead isn't "assembling" a bullet. You assemble the whole package, case, BULLET, primer, gunpowder.
You can't assemble a finished unit if you don't either purchase the bullet or make it yourself...and the bullet IS the main component after all...so yeah you can make your own ammo...and you can assemble your own ammo.
Go assemble me a singular piece of 9mm ammo using a 1lb lump of lead for the bullet component...then get back to me
