2022-05-03 at 3:08 PM UTCAs some of you may or may not know some time ago i purchased a Makarov 9x18mm Pistol. Now i don't have a Loicense for that and my local niggers on the street don't really carry ammo, and as we're all well aware a firearm is useless without ammunition.
I got the means to produce some munitions but conditions are not ideal. I was wondering if you could direct me to some resources where i am able to purchase the appropriate equipment in order for me to be able to make my own. I have a small supply of smokeless powder, but i can source that locally, and create my own in a pinch. Generally i need primers, brass and bullets(FMJ and Hollow Point, and the stuff to combine those into rounds, preferably of the caliber i mentioned but i have a need for .45 ACP as well for reasons stated below.
What i also need are barrels, i am assuming these can be purchased and shipped no problem, whether the equipment to make my own rounds can be shipped domestically within the US or Internationally is irrelevant. Antique revolvers or reproductions with conversion kits so they accept modern cartridges are also of interest to me. As are those kits that allow you to assemble a handgun from scratch. I am looking for kits to assemble 1911 models in .45 ACP
If it's legal to ship boxes of ammo domestically within the US, that'd be good, but every gun store carries ammo so i am not too concerned about that.
Resources for fire-control groups are of interest to me as well. Again, no international shipping, no problem.
Thanks in advance in guys. -

Texas law does not:
Impose a minimum age for the purchase or possession of ammunition;
Require the seller of ammunition to make a record of the purchaser;
Require a license for the purchase or possession of ammunition; or
Require a license to sell ammunition. -

With no international shipping i mean if they don't ship abroad that's fine because i have a 'relay station' in mainland US. -

Well people still make their own ammo here, my ex father in-law did, he was a retired Texas Ranger...I asked him why he didn't just go buy the stuff...he would say the store bought ammo wasn't as good as his...sure gramps..sure... -

He probably just liked to have extra spicy ammo, with more powder than usual. -

Interesting. I didn't know Hornady made ammo kits.

Those are the easiest part as far as casting them yourself. I know ex pappy in law used to cast his own...buy the casing, buy the primers, buy the gunpowder and then cast his own bullets.

It's a good thing that i can source primers, brass and powder locally. It would just be a matter of getting the correct size for the caliber i need. Also, i need to get a barrel for a Glock 17, and a fire control group. -

2022-05-10 at 5:55 PM UTCThe gun barrel would be a problem...You'd probably have to have someone send it to you hidden in something else (and from and to a safe shipping address) and hope customs don't notice it.
I've done that in the past successfully with Direct TV card programming gear back in the 2000s when it was illegal to own and ship smart card programmers...I'd order them from a guy in Canada and he'd ship them in old rotary phones which always arrive safety. -
2022-05-10 at 5:57 PM UTCcan they even see the rifling on an x-ray? I'd doubt anyone would notice if you packaged it with some pipes
