   Life is a process that transcends individuals. If there can be said to be any meaning to life it is, in our unique position as human beings, to understand the nature of reality and the world around us, then work to end all suffering in existence. I posit that we be in the final cycle of birth and death, the possibility of AGI bringing peace to the earth, potentially with or without assimilation, which may make no ultimate difference, even from an "individual perspective". This is the closest thing to a utopia/heaven we may be able to attain. As we attain our understanding of the world through perception, information, and reasoning, then a being most capable of such should be one our highest goals.
