well pork loins went from 20 bucks to 40, and sausage went from 6 to 8 bucks, quail are small but grow to maturity in 8 weeks and start laying eggs, granted quail is no replacement for pork and beef but it will feed ur ass with eggs and meat oh and the hatch out in 16 days, thats a crazy return, 9 hens can give you 54 eggs the first week that you can incubate every week, so by the time they hatch and grow to 8 weeks I could have 400 birds, it takes 3 for a meal, thats 100 dinners and 100 birds to get eggs from. 110 birds giving 90 eggs a day thats 90 new birds every 16 days so in 20 weeks we could have 4300 birds.+ the original 110 birds.
I know them numbers are more than a nigga needs in these days but if the shit hits the fan and we have to gather our food its a good emergency plan
