2022-03-13 at 7:25 PM UTCWent down there last night and saw most of the paint I applied last weekend was peeling and that's my fault for not doing much prep work.
Took the furnace apart to manageable pieces to drag out and throw in the alley way.
Will be flex sealing the one window with a second coat today and hopefully making a covering for the broken window so I can remove the frame and get back to replacing the rest of it in a week or 2.
I need a better sweeper as the shop vac I'm using does not suck very well.
Hopefully I can get stuff at least thrown against a wall soon so I can work on the part I want to be my space down there.

My gf has gotten her moneys worth many times over out of her house.
I know enough about foundations to know that I don't know enough about foundations.
I saw a house today that had its foundation in such bad shape it literally caved in under the house and I could see into the basement through a huge fucking hole.
She wants to fix her house up and dump money into it but I've seen enough in the few cluster fuck projects that I barely ever got started before deeply regretting beginning them.
Houses can last a long long time but this ones over 100 years old already and there is just no bringing it up to modern anything.
So far I've found the electrical is so old and fucked it needs a good bit redone.
The walls are fucking plaster.
There is no insulation.
And the foundation is crumbling.
No attic access so who knows up there.
And to be honest in 30 years I would be surprised if it still has anyone at all living in it.
My only goal now is to deal with it using a blind eye and save money to get us out of here before the kid starts school.
The kind of work my gf wants to do is in the tens of thousands of dollar range and it's seriously just not worth doing.
Does she have a mortgage on it? -

What do you suggest for 3 outlets that will have power strips and be powering 2-4 computers and 4-6 televisions along with an indoor fountain and a space heater?
Should I run 4 outlets maybe?

The farmer says, "Oh no, officer. I have too much respect for law enforcement and police officers to even think about calling you a horses back end."
The trooper says, "Well, that's a good thing," and goes back to writing the ticket.

Sprayed some more flex seal and put some duct tape over that other broken window.
