Well of course there are examples of it being justified...if you came home and your wife was slicing the neck of your child for example you might want to kick her the fuck off the kid rather than saying "please leave Bethany alone darling".
But again...violence against men is much more prevalent in relationships..it's just undocumented and less spoken about. Men tend not to get so worked up about it as women do.
The stereotype of a woman hitting her husband with a frying pan is "comedic" because that's how society has programed us to view it...the opposite? is not.

I’d probably never hit a guy I was in a relationship with, though there was a time this guy was tickling me, it stung because I’m hypersensitive and I couldn’t stop myself from going into attack mode, almost elbowed him in the neck.

I've never wanted to hit someone i love...if i love you and you hurt me..im leaving..that's the best way to solve that for me... because i know my presence is a benefit to anyone i encounter...
Ohh they gone miss my love and affection...that's facts

My Brother and I use to physically fight all the time but we still loved each other. Though of course we'd never verbalize that because...not gay.

I have never once hit a woman in my life. I would rather break up with someone than hit them. The second you hit a woman, you lose. You give in to that impulse and it's over. Your relationship is finished anyway at that point tbh.
It would be so easy to annihilate most women that there is literally no point. It is like hitting a child. It might make them obey at the moment, it might make them fear you or understand the level of difference between you... But in the long run it is virtually never a net positive.
Better to just end that shit. I cannot imagine that being part of my personality or life story. "On X March 20XX, I smacked the fucking shit out of my girlfriend" is not something I want in whatever that ultimate cosmic ledger is. We only get 1 shot at life and this is us leaving our mark upon reality, forever. Is that what to put in the books? Fuck that.

It's about the intent ....if my brother punches my arm his intent is not to harm me badly.. and I know this because i know he's not hitting me like he would a stranger... And it makes me laugh actually ...
If we are slab boxing and you get hurt ..you knew we were playing... It's the intent
