In your opinion, how many stab wounds is too much?

   So in general when a murder victim is found with over 100 stab wounds you'd say that would qualify as overkill. Realistically how many stab wounds could you inflict before a person has bled out? What would be an objective measure of overkill.

   I would say around the range of 10. 20 seems pushing it. It can take a while for a person to bleed out depending on where they're stabbed, so I can see inflicting about 10 to make sure or try to speed up the process. Any more than that isn't going to change much, so they would probably just be stabbing out of blind fury at that point.
