There is fried rice and there is FRIED RICE...
The quality can vary widely...Asians tend to be on the higher end of the scale, Canadians on the lower end.

OK what's a Vietnamese sammich? I have literally never heard of a sandwich from Asia, I can't imagine what they would look like. Is it an ancient recipe passed down from a family that made grain in a secret hidden field?

Bánh mì
Food
In Vietnamese cuisine, bánh mì or banh mi is a short baguette with thin, crisp crust and soft, airy texture. It is often split lengthwise and filled with savory ingredients like a submarine sandwich and served as a meal, called bánh mì thịt. Plain banh mi is also eaten as a staple food.
Delicious indeed.
