I used to like riding the bus to work back in Blighty, the seats at the back of the bus in England face opposite each other so many a morning you'd be sitting opposite some young office lovely in a short skirt that you could spend the journey looking up.
ETA: plus you could go out for a few drinks at lunchtime and after work and then ride the bus home bladdered without a worry in the world.

I've seen people smoke crack on busses many times. It's what happens when the weather is shit. Bus terminals used to be hotbeds of criminal activity here. Not going into specifics this changed by spending millions on new infrastructure and cameras everywhere. Read about some kids robbing someone at a bus terminal last week but they were quickly arrested
