Even after the 'peacekeepers' started moving in there have been a lot of artillery strikes and ATGM attacks, will post some videos later.
Oh yeah for what it's worth this has been proposed multiple times before, deploying a UN peacekeeping force to the contact line to make sure both sides adhere to the Minsk agreements. The US kept vetoing it though, instead proposing that the peacekeepers be put on the Russian-Ukrainian border, even though Russia wasn't a party to the conflict or to the agreement. Russia wouldn't allow it though, drawning parallels with Snerbernenrnenica - if the peacekeepers were along the Russian border, all they could possibly do is stop LDNR residents from escaping to Russia when the UAF came to bulldoze them. -
2022-02-23 at 6:37 AM UTC"this is a flagrant violation of international law!!"
they said, conveniently forgetting about Kosovo -

2022-02-23 at 11:49 AM UTC^did I fuck up? I thought we could embed direct mp4s
***you can't embed with the .MP4 extension in all caps, I'll reupload later. links work though.
also
can someone make out what that is? maybe a squib or a detonator from a grenade? a blasting cap?
it's from an FSB raid that apparently picked up a couple of Right Sector guys in the Crimea who were trying to bomb a church. -

2022-02-23 at 2:16 PM UTClol, the whitehouse is now claiming that Russia has a 'kill list' of anti-Russian politicians and military commanders
the irony is hilarious
for reference they listed a 12 year old girl as an 'enemy of the Ukraine', including her school and home address because she dared to go on the news to talk about the situation in the LDNR -

jedis always accuse everyone else of having and keeping enemies lists. Confession through projection. -

ground forces are part of the peacekeeping mission.
because the UAF kept shelling and bombing even after the Russians began to deploy, they just bombed a few C4ISR facilities mostly around Kharkov with surface to surface missiles, not sure what kind -

I'm hearing Mariupol will fall imminently, GRAD barrages have landed in Kyiv and the Ukrainian navy has been neutralized. -
2022-02-24 at 5:05 AM UTCThe Ukrainian navy doesn't really have much worth mentioning, but the Black Sea is essentially a Russian lake anyway so they do not have a chance of fighting back if there's a conflict there.
GRAD missiles only have a range of around 40km; I don't think those reports are accurate.
Yesterday Putin made a statement -
The Ukraine must recognize Crimea and Sevastopol as Russian territory
The Ukraine must officially renounce joining NATO
The Ukraine must negotiate a settlement with the LDNR Republics
The Ukraine must be demilitarized and declared neutral
if not they'll be kept out of the Crimea and LDNR by force, and any hosting of NATO troops or hardware will be seen as a hostile act -
2022-02-24 at 5:08 AM UTCHmmm wonder why theyβre bombing Kyivπ₯΄
-
2022-02-24 at 5:13 AM UTCPerhaps i have the ordnance wrong but some type of self propelled artillery landed in Kyiv, and from what i am seeing on twatter from geo-political OSINT accounts actual hot war is currently occurring, not perhaps, for sure.

2022-02-24 at 5:17 AM UTCYeah they're striking ammo depots and command positions near the contact line to stop the artillery and MLRS being fired into the regions that Russia's offered to protect like I said they probably would.
There's no reason for them to attack any further than that, except maybe stockpiles of Tochkas or something.the mayor of Borispol, the city near Kiev that hosts the airport, said on Facebook that the blasts were the result of Ukrainian troops firing at an unidentified aircraft, βmost likely a droneβ. He called on residents to remain calm, saying there was no need for them to move to bomb shelters.
