2022-02-21 at 10:54 PM UTCSo what's the post-mortem on this anyway? The yanks are half-wits, obviously, and people like Biden and his brainless lackeys in the media are thoroughly discredited with their "on February 16th Putin will bomb Kyiv and invade Ukraine" talk.
So was the invasion narrative put out by the Russians as a disinfo campaign? Part of some sort of sigint disinfo? Or did the paranoid anglo-jedi looneys just make it up out of whole cloth, a symptom of a disordered mind?
How could they get it so wrong? -
2022-02-21 at 11:38 PM UTCAldra, great news, Putin just signed an order putting rususian troops into the contested territories, connecting russia with the Crimea region just like I said they were goin to :)

After Russian President Putin recognized the pseudo-republics and ordered the deployment of troops in the Donbass, the people of Lviv came to the Russian Consulate General. They chanted "Muscovites - home" and sang insurgent songs.
https://24tv.ua/lviv/moskali-dodomu-lvivyani-pislya-pogroz-putina-priyshli-do-konsulstva_n1873839
They called to come to the consulate at 11:30 pm on February 21. The purpose of the protest was to declare that Ukrainians would defend their state.
The protest lasted about 40 minutes. It was attended by several dozen people. We are talking about veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, public activists and volunteers.
Less than I would have expected. While the cowardly dutch, yanks, jedis, brits, etc have abandoned their embassies in Kyiv and moved to Lviv, for no real reason, the Russians have kept their consulate in Lviv open. If there is one job I would not like, it working in the Russian consulate in Lviv. The place has been subject to regular vandalism and molotov attacks. -

Putting a tripwire force in the contested region isn't the same as annexing it or integrating it into the Russian Federation, but that's definitely on the table now. It's likely to happen eventually given that they don't have much of a chance of survival long-term as a sovereign state.
The extent of the current regime is that Russia has recognised LDNR as a sovereign state and will protect it from Ukrainian attacks. -

Almost everything the White House says is for domestic consumption. This whole 'Russia is going to invade tomorrow!' nonsense is for the benefit of people like Tech and Stl who never read beyond the headline - as we've seen in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya etc. they will make a bold statement to try and solidify support for whatever action they intend to take, then just keep doubling down on it until something tangential happens and they can claim they were right (ie. in the first chemical attack in Ghouta, where they were hyping Assad's chemical attacks for weeks, only when it happened the UN investigation group found the gas used came from outside Syria and was launched from rebel territory. so they fired the lead investigator and buried the report) or they MAKE the prediction come true (ie. the 'chemical attack' in Douma that was entirely falsified by the Turkish-British White Helmets). Admitting that their intelligence was bad is anathema, so they can never learn from their mistakes.
They've really painted themselves into a corner with Russia thanks to Hillary essentially destroying diplomatic relations because she couldn't admit she lost an election to a 'newcomer'.
As for the current activities, it's actually been in motion behind the scenes for a while and I just didn't put it together. Before Putin's address they made clear that he'd given France and Germany forewarning that this was going to happen in their diplomatic meetings last week, and military movements (specifically MiG-31Ks being stationed in Kalingrad, Belarus and Tartus) indicated something was changing -

I suspect that was just incidental, this correlates directly to the Ukrainians launching new attacks on the breakaway regions. Shelling attacks doubled over the last couple of days and a LOT of critical infrastructure went down. It's likely this wouldn't have happened for a while if the Ukrainians hadn't completely and openly abandoned the Minsk Agreements -

Hopefully. The retarded Holohols have been hitting LDNR with mortars quite a bit. You notice how they don't hit Crimea with mortars? Because Crimea is Russian, and will hit back with air strikes and heavy rocket artillery. Imagine being in the target area of these fuckers.
It scared the Nazis away, it'll scare the retarded Hohols.
Anyway this fag slapping nonsense doesn't interest me that much, but the way Russians inside Ukraine (like 20% of the population) have reacted to developments over the last 8 years since the color revolution is interesting. They're being basically genocided, their history, language and culture erased, their media outlets suppressed, and their self-identity banned. And they just go along with it calmly, just like whites in the west do. That fascinates me, how they have never developed an independent ethnic self-identity that they will fight for. -

2022-02-22 at 1:45 AM UTCPutin is a fucking idiot. He is screwing his own people in the ass. The sanctions Russia will get will cripple their economy. Ya’ll want a war, well the economic affects will be felt everywhere.
They won’t impose them fully yet, and Putin knows it, but he didn’t come this far just to protect the separatists. Oh no, he’s going all in now, ain’t no turning back.
In 2014 when they annexed crimea the US knew it was coming, by way of intelligence. MichaelMcfaul, the Russian ambassador at the time said they knew it was coming but didn’t tell about their intelligence back then. They’ve regretted it ever since, they knew it was a mistake they didn’t want to make again. Now that the Whitehouse is is putting out most of the intelligence they receive to the public, Biden has called Putin’s bluff. Don’t care what the Ukrainians say about panic, Biden knew this was coming and wasn’t about to make that mistake again; he’s putting it out there for all to see.
Oh yes, oh yes, the US is war hungry…..GTFOutta here. We just had a disastrous pull out in Pakistan, but our soldiers are home. The last thing our country and its leaders want is war.
The funniest one was you all thinking our media could cause a war. That’s fucking hilarious. No no, not the fact that Putin was amassing 130,000+ would mean Putin is about to invade. Fucking hilarious.
Putin is a tyrant and an evil man that doesn’t give two shits about his people. What a fucking pussy.
I see why you worship him aldra.
Now there’s some facts for ya, I know they’re hard to swallow, don’t gag. -

The media can easily be used to start a war, and is - fairly regularly. Especially now in post-Truth America. -

2022-02-22 at 2:29 AM UTCI bought like €12,000 in Russian Stock Market Index funds recently, because it seemed to have bottomed. Russia is commodity rich, so the investment should be booming. I'm down about €2,000 on it so far. Despite oil and gas and nickel and all the various commodities Russia produces this crap in Donbass hasn't been good for Russia economically.
Don't feel bad for me, my diversified oil ETCs, call options, and American oil services shares are booming and more than cover the losses.
I don't really understand what it means to be Russian, but I suspect that for those who identify as Russian this isn't about money or economics or logistics or safety, Donbass and Crimea feel like parts of their homeland, and they will support Putin in re-integrating them into a Russian homeland no matter what, the same way West Germans were willing to pay for East Germany, despite the country being a disaster and a basket-case.
It's kinda sad with the demographic situation in Russia that there isn't a more basic solution being applied - have more white babies - but they have their own thing going on. -
